Role overview
You will be the face of Lightstone as a trusted advisor and proactive, client-centric data, analytics, and software solutions service provider.
Reporting to the Lightstone Head of Financial Services, the Commercial Manager of Financial Services will maintain and expand relationships with strategically important banking and insurance industry clients, working closely with such clients to expand the products and services offered to them and growing the company’s revenue from these activities.
Key Performance Areas
The incumbent is responsible for developing and implementing strategies to achieve sustainable revenue growth through, inter alia, new business acquisition, retention of existing clients, and successful negotiation of longer-term contracts to assigned or newly targeted key accounts.
Leading the expansion of the product suite by identifying and
developing new use cases, enhancing existing solutions, and ideating novel solutions based on client engagements.
Drive quiet operational efficacy by comprehending client
requirements and advocating for them with responsible internal
stakeholders.
Manage client relationships with a focus on cultivating and
enhancing existing client relationships, as well as establishing new
relationships with prospective clients.
Cultivate strategic partnerships that result in the co-creation of
solutions and Lightstone being an active, prominent presence on
client platforms.
Being a brand ambassador for Lightstone in the Financial Services
(Industry “Go-To” for market intelligence)
Qualifications
An Undergraduate degree in a quantitative field (e.g. Finance,
Economics, Statistics or a similarly relevant degree).
Postgraduate degree is preferrable
Experience
A minimum of five years relevant working experience – ideally in
the financial services industry.
Direct experience with an Insurance Company would be
advantageous.
Technical skills
Broad computer skills – e.g., MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.
